Registration for Create & Code Summer Tech Camp 2023 is now open! Our In-Person camp will be held on July 10 to August 4 from 8:30 am to 4 pm under the theme “Connecting To Our Past “, for ages 5 to 16. The camp costs $30 XCD per week or $120 for the month. The deadline for registration is July 3, 2023.

Apply to be an Intern at Create Caribbean
The internship application deadline is fast approaching! The RTC Internship Program at Create Caribbean Research Institute is an academic enrichment initiative. Students will be exposed to the culture of academic research, digital humanities, and community engagement. Interns receive the opportunity to collaborate, learn and practice their talents on projects of importance to the college community, and national development and to build regional and international networks as students and scholars.
In order to be eligible, students must be enrolled at Dominica State College and commit approximately 10 hours per week during the regular semester and 20 hours per week for one month during the summer. During this time, students will work and learn in the practice-based research environment of the Institute.
Students will receive a stipend of US$400 per semester subject to satisfactory academic performance and program progress.
Interns who successfully complete the academic and service requirements of the program will be awarded a Certificate in Caribbean Digital Studies from Dominica State College.

CDSC Micro-Grant Program 2024
The Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective (CDSC) has launched its second annual micro-grant program to support digital scholarship in and about the Caribbean and its diasporas.
The CDSC welcomes applications from original digital humanities and digital scholarship projects at any stage, from inception to currently in development. The CDSC will support at least five projects from January to December 2024, offering grants ranging from USD $1000 to $20,000.
Applicants must submit their proposals through the online submission form by September 15, 2023 at 11:59 pm EST. In order to apply, you will need to submit the following:
Title
Summary (250 words)
Narrative (1000-1200 words) covering project description, intellectual contributions, engagement with digital methods, and more.
Plan of execution, including deliverables, outcomes, partners, and data management.
Itemized budget and budget rationale.
One-page resume(s) of the principal investigator(s).
