Join us LIVE on June 24 2022 on Create Caribbean Youtube and Facebook pages!
About the Symposium
The RTC Internship Symposium is the annual capstone event for the Research, Technology and Community (RTC) Internship Program for students at Dominica State College. The symposium is an exhibition of the student projects in Caribbean Digital Scholarship and is the culmination of the course Digital Humanities Research (HIS115) at Dominica State College. The Create Caribbean team will launch the institute's digital project of the year and student interns will present their individual projects, which all spring off the themes and data of the collaborative institute project.
The 2022 symposium is the first of its kind, although Create Caribbean has held previous public project launches. The symposium format is part of the expansion of the Internship Program and other initiatives of Create Caribbean, made possible by funding from the Mellon Foundation through the Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective.
